On February 15, 2024, Searcy County deputies and an Agent with the Adult Community Correction arrested Cody Michael Mills of St. Joe, Arkansas, during a probation visit. Mills had violated the terms of his probation and sex offender requirements. Evidence from the visit was seized and has been packaged for transport to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for processing. Additional charges are possible in this investigation.

Mills is currently incarcerated at the Searcy County Detention Center awaiting further proceedings.
