Davison Arrest update

At approximately 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, a Harriet man, Hal Davidson, was arrested after it was reported that he was firing a weapon on Hwy. 14.
According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, the arrested occurred after he and Searcy County deputies responded to the call that Davidson was firing shots at a passing vehicle on Hwy. 14W near Harriet.
After arriving on scene, law enforcement officers found Davidson standing in the road holding a handgun. When Davidson saw officers, he immediately dropped the weapon.
Davidson was arrested and transported to the Searcy County Detention Center for processing. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, Class D felony, and Terroristic Act, Class B felony. Davidson is currently undergoing court ordered assessment at a mental health facility.
