Drug raid leads to arrest of area man
Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell reported on November 23, an early morning raid on Hwy. 65 in Saint Joe, resulted in the arrest of 57 year old Clinton F. Elliott of St. Joe. The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant and a joint investigation between the Searcy County Sheriff's Department, 20th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Marshall Police Department.
During the search of the residence and property, officers located a large amount of methamphetamines, as well as a large sum of cash money.
