On Monday, July 6, at approximately 4:20 a.m., the Searcy County Sheriff's Office dispatched Deputy Joey Baysinger and Deputy Dustin Rosenberger to a house fire on Rosebud Loop in Oxley.

  When deputies arrived on scene, members of the Oxley Volunteer Fire Department and Leslie Fire Department were battling the blaze. Homeowner Allen Strickland told law enforcement officials, he was working on his car in the garage, which is attached to the house, when the car caught on fire. The fire moved quickly from the garage to the house and different buildings located on the property.

  The vehicle and house were a total loss. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
