LR man cited for marijuana

  A Little Rock resident was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia after being stopped on September 16 on Hwy. 65 outside of Marshall.

  According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, Joshua Allen Bice, age 21, was stopped by a Searcy County deputy after he was seen crossing the fog line and centerline on multiple occasions. Cassell stated when the deputy approached Bice's vehicle he could smell marijuana coming from inside the car. Bice told they deputy there was marijuana inside a bag in his vehicle.

  The deputy asked Bice to step out of the vehicle and retrieved the bag from the floorboard of the car. Inside the bag, the deputy found a marijuana grinder, and a jar that contained a green leafy substance. The deputy also found two marijuana cigarettes and a pipe used for smoking marijuana.

  At the Searcy County Detention Center, Bice was cited for possession of a controlled substance, finger printed and released.
