On Monday, March 8, the City of Leslie hosted a meeting for local business owners conducted by Searcy County Deputy Lt. Billy Cordell. Cordell (pictured sitting on bench) offered business owners ideas on how to prevent theft and safety tips. Searcy County Dispatcher Blake Kelley assisted with the presentation. Leslie Mayor Talitha Hardin complimented Cordell on his presentation and said the business owners received "great information and feedback." Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell said Cordell is planning to conduct other community events such as this one in the future.
