DL testing centers open now

  According to Allen Smith CDL Examiner with the Arkansas State Police, Driver's License (DL) testing facilities across the area will reopen. Smith said at each facility written exams are given from 8 am to 11:30 am and the skills exam is by appointment times only.

  Testing sites and hours of operation are:

  Marshall - the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at the Searcy County Civic Center on Zack Rd.

  Mtn. View - every Thursday at the Central Fire Station on North Bayou Road.

  Harrison - Monday, Tuesday (except the 1st of the month.), Wednesday, and Friday at the ASP CDL Testing Site on Hwy. 65S.

  Smith said, "We also are now doing the CDL skills testing in Harrison for those drivers who are moving from Class D license to Class A, B, or C commercial driver's license.
