According to Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell, Nicole Joann Case, age 28, of St. Joe and John Wayne Eddings, age 28, of Everton were arrested on May 26 after Searcy County deputies stopped their vehicle for invalid tag markings.

  Cassell said deputies were aware Case had warrants out for her arrest in Boone and Newton County. When deputies checked Eddings information through the crime information computer, it was learned Eddings had a suspended license and was also wanted in Boone County.

  When Case stepped out of her vehicle, a deputy noticed she dropped a green pipe. After inspecting the pipe, it was found to contain a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

  Both Case and Eddings were transported to the Searcy County Detention Center. Case was charged with possession of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia and out of town warrant/assist. Eddings was charged with out of town warrant/assist.
