Utility Trailer Recovered

Sheriff Kenny Cassell states that during the month of January 2019, an individual reported that he 5 X 10 utility  trailer had been stolen from the area of Hwy. 14 near Big Creek in Searcy County. 

On Wednesday January 16, 2018, a joint investigation between the Searcy County and Stone County Sheriff's Departments revealed the location of the stolen property.  Investigators met with the suspect, Eric Adamson, 38 of Timbo, Arkansas, at the ACC office, and drove Adamson to his residence to conduct a home visit.  During the drive to his residence, Adamson uttered, "Is this about the trailer you took pictures of yesterday at my house?" The investigator asked if it, (the trailer) would be there when we arrived. Adamson stated, "No I moved it into the woods last night. I will show you were it is."

After locating the stolen trailer and property, Eric Dwayne Adamson was arrested and transported to the Stone County Detention Center for holding.  On January 17, 2019, Adamson was charged in Searcy County District Court with Theft of Property.  He remains in the Stone County Detention Center on unrelated charges..  He is currently on felony probation.
