Sheriff Kenny Cassell reports that on May 12, 2025, Jimmy Mayfield of Harrison, Arkansas entered a negotiated plea of 48 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, for the offenses of Battery Second Degree, Possession of a Schedule II narcotic, and Driving While Intoxicated.

Mayfield remains in the custody of the Searcy County Sheriff while he awaits transport to the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
