On February 7, 2019, Marshall Police Chief Lang Holland arrested Israel Salas, JR. on the charges of RAPE (Class Y Felony) and RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY (Class B Felony).

The arrest comes after the issuance of a Bench Warrant issued by Twentieth Judicial Prosecutor Carol Crews.  Sheriff Kenny Cassell said that Salas was transported to the Searcy County Detention Center where he was processed and booked.

Israel Salas, JR. has a Searcy County Circuit Court date of February 8, 2019 for a first appearance.  No bond has been set at this time.
