On March 26, 2019 at approximately 6:45PM, Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell  and deputies responded to Hwy. 14 west (Harriet) in regard to an individual firing shots at a passing vehicle.

After arriving on scene, officers made contact with an individual known as Hal Davidson of Harriet, Arkansas.  When contacted, Davidson was standing in the roadway holding a handgun.  When Davidson saw officers, he dropped the handgun.

Davidson was immediately arrested and transported to the Searcy County Detention Center for processing.  Davidson is expected to be charged with Aggravated Assault, a Class D Felony.  No bond has been set.
