Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell reported that on Monday, June 24, members of his department were called upon to assist the Marshall Police Department with the investigation of an individual who resides in a house on the Landis side of Campbell Road.

Cassell stated when law enforcement arrived at the residence, they did not locate the individual in question, but located Susan Buck, age 64 of Marshall, who also resides at the residence. Cassell stated during a search of the residence, law enforcement officials found marijuana plants in their infant stage growing inside Buck’s home. They also found evidence of a hydroponic garden associated with marijuana growth.

Buck was arrested and taken to the Searcy County Detention Center where she was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
